Set up your Cooking Space for your Human Design Environment
The cooking space and dining space are important rooms in the home, since they’re oriented around how we nourish ourselves.
This is a holy site where I prepare the sustenance for my sacred vessel. SOMETIMES it’s also where I eat macaroni and cheese or sneak a spoonful of maple syrup for a sweet treat. I think both these worlds can exist together; one where I enjoy feeding myself like I’m a god, and one where I couldn’t be bothered to do more than order a pizza and bring out a fun napkin (to make it special).
Considering the cooking space and dining space with great care can help you set yourself up with high quality nourishment.
Your body needs to be properly set up in the world before it’s ready to eat — before it’s ready to feed and nourish itself.
This is both a very basic and very deep concept to grasp. If you’re not set up in life, you won’t be well fed; you won’t be well nourished. You won’t be as vibrant as you can be.
Consider what’s available to you in your cooking space! And should you ever get the opportunity to customize or create your own cooking space from scratch, I offered up some ideas to consider too.
